GREEN COFFEE Ethiopia Yirgacheffe GR2 (25LB Box)

The "Gran Cru" coffee of Ethiopia. Though Ethiopia is known for its wild and crazy "Naturals" the Sidama district's Washed Yirgacheffe coffee. The result of altitude, climatic conditions wet processing and the guiding hand of a knowing and sensitive roastmaster makes this a most elegant cup. Delicately flavored Yirgacheffe has a heady and surprisingly sweet perfume off the grounds and of very delicate hint of lime in the cup. There too you will find hints of the silk road, with intimations of cinnamon, cedar and myrrh. Ken Davids awarded Gillies roast version of this coffee "Best Cup".
